I can't even believe that our sweet little Hannah is 9 months old today! Where did the time go? She is the absolute sweetest little thing in the world! She is the best baby and is always in good spirits, except for when she's not and then she lets us know it! We are so in love with this little girl and can't wait to see her personality develop even more! We love you Hannah! You are the best!

Happy 4th!

We had a nice 4th of July this year! It started at 8 in the morning when we went to our ward Breakfast. Then we just played and relaxed all day until it was time to go to Eric sister Michelle's house for dinner. We had a blast playing and visiting with family! Then we went to the annual Cul-de-sac of fire over by my parents home for some fun and entertainment and to connect with old friends we haven't seen in a while! When it got dark we went back to Michelle's for some amazing fireworks! It is so fun to have the fireworks that shoot into the sky be legal this year! People were shooting them off all around us, it was quite the show!

This is a picture I require my family to take every 4th! I am pretty sure Eric has worn the same shirt 4 years in a row! I may have had a repeat too!:)

Swimming Lessons

Sadie started swimming lessons today. She has been so excited! I have to admit I got a little emotional when I saw here walking into the pool with her teacher like such a big girl! She did really well until about the last 5 minutes when she started crying for me. When class finally ended she came to me crying and her teacher said she was complaining about being cold. It was a little overcast this morning, so hopefully it will be warmer for the rest of her lessons, and hopefully she won't put up a fight when it is time to go to lessons tomorrow!

Our sweet little Sadie is 3! I really can't believe it! She is growing up way too fast. We had a fun family party on the Sunday before her birthday, and she was very spoiled with lots of fun gifts from her family! She was is heaven with all her fun new toys! She has been talking about what kind of cake she wanted for months, and every day it changed. So we finally she decided she wanted to have a castle cake with all the princesses on it. I have to say I am quite proud of how it turned out! We love you Sadie, and can't wait to see what new things you will learn and discover in the year to come!

Living Planet Aquarium

I recently was lucky enough to get a great deal on passes to the aquarium! We went up there a couple of weeks ago with Rachael, Boston and Peyton. Sadie had a blast! I am excited to go more through the next year!

Our sweet Hannah is growing up so fast! She is such a good baby and has such a sweet little spirit about her. She is getting good at grabbing everything in sight and putting it in her mouth, rolling over, scooting around on her back, and she is getting really close to sitting up on her own! She loves her new solid foods, she loves her mommy and daddy, and she looooovees her sister Sadie. No one can get her laughing quite like Sadie. We love this little girl so much, and can't wait to see her little personality develop! I LOVE how these pictures turned out! Thanks to my sister in law Jeselyn for taking them!

I have the hardest time remembering to take pictures, but I did take a couple lately that are post worthy! I just love my two little girls! Sadie is getting to be such a big girl and has recently entered the world of potty training. She is actually doing really well! She is also getting so witty and smart. She makes us laugh every day! Hannah has the sweetest personality and can brighten your mood in an instant! She loves Sadie and Sadie loves her back. It is so fun to see how much they love each other! We feel pretty blessed to have these sweet little girls in our lives! They are a lot of work, but very worth it! Here are just a few pictures of our cuties!

She is still trying to adjust to such a big bed, but I think she likes having the extra room. Okay I am glad to know that there are still some of you out there! I will make sure to post more often and I guess that starts with remembering to take pictures more often! :) As you can see I just posted a ton of pictures from Christmas time! Here is some random catch up. My cousin Shelley, who happeneds to be one of my closests friends, had her twins 6 days after Hannah was born! It was so fun to see her and Deven and their sweet little babies over the holidays! We of course had to take a picture of the three babies. We also went up to temple square around Christmas time with some of Eric's family to see the lights. It was fun but VERY crowded! And then I had to add a cute picture of Sweet little Hannah smiling at her Daddy! This is back when she just started smiling. Now she's a pro!

This was taken back at the first of December or so, but this is Sadie's first snowman! This was many days after one of the bigger snows, but as you can see the snow was almost gone. We finally got out just before the snow was melted, which is why our snowman is kind of small. Sadie thought it was great so I guess that is all that matters! We have since made a few more, her favorite of which was the one she got to build with daddy. It was decked out with a hat and scarf and everything!

Hannah's Blessing Day

Our Sweet little girl was blessed on Sunday! Eric did a great job and gave her a beautiful blessing! She looked so sweet! We had such great support from friends and family, we took up three benches at church! Sorry to all my ward memebers who had to sit clear in the back. I feel so blessed to be the mother of this sweet little girl! She brings so much joy to our family!

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!

Last night we had a fun time going down to the Riverwoods mall for the turning on of the lights and for Santa's arrival! Sadie had some much fun with all her cousins and she was excited to see Santa, but she refused to sit on his lap. They did a really good job on the lights and festivities. Sadie's favorite part was the carriage ride!

This year Sadie decided she wanted to be tinkerbell. I am not sure where she got this idea but when I asked her why she said, so she can fly. So we went to the Disney store and picked this cute little costume up. She was so excited and wanted to wear it everyday. I thought she made a pretty darn cute tinkerbell!

Every year we go trick or treating at papa's work. These two were ready for naps, but it was fun!

Every year we get to go to a fun Halloween party at Eric's grandparents house. Grandma D always makes it so fun! She and Grandpa dress up as Vampires and give each kid a bag of candy if they come sit on their laps. Sadie refuses every year! She is terrified of their costumes! This year she started crying and was clinging to Eric so tight. It is so funny! Maybe she'll be brave next year!

Hannah's first week

Well we made it through our first week and so far Hannah has been an angel! She is such a sweet little baby and so far the adjustment to two has been pretty smooth. Sadie still has her moments where she doesn't want me to hold Hannah, but I am sure that will continue for some time. For the most part she loves her sister and is always wanting to help take care of her. I love my little girls so much!

Our sweet baby Hannah joined our little family on October 5. She weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and was 20.5 inches long. The delivery was very smooth, and after 10 minutes of pushing she was out! She is such a sweet baby and we love her so much! Sadie was so excited when Hannah came home, but has since had a few melt downs. But with time and a little adjusting I am sure they will be best of friends!

Peery Family Getaway

Last weekend Eric's whole family went up to our sister-in-law Jeselyn's family's cabin up near Kamas. It was such a nice, relaxing weekend and it was fun to have everyone together! I am horrible at taking pictures but I was able to snap a few. Here they are!

This swing was a big hit! The kids were constantly playing on it, and begging to go higher. It is pretty cool, it is an old ski lift swinging on a chain between two trees.

We often found Sadie playing in these rocks. One moring when she was out on a walk she fell in the rocks and hurt her knee. Her aunt Jeselyn helped her find a "magic" rock and they rubbed it on her knee to make it all better. She was obsessed with the "magic" rocks the entire trip after that and kept giving them to people so they could fix their boo boos. So cute!
We also took family pictures while we were up there since to whole family was together. That is why Sadie is looking way too cute in this picture to be camping. I can't wait to see them! Jeselyn is an awesome photographer so I am sure there are some great ones.

Summer 2010

So I know it has been months since I posted anything and I am sure that the few people who were following our blog have completely given up on us. But just in case there are a few faithful followers out there here is a long post to catch you up on our Summer fun. I thought I better do this before the baby is born or else it would never get done! We had a lot of fun this summer and I can't believe it is already coming to an end! But I can't say I am too sad because that just makes us that much closer to welcoming our new little one to the world. Here are just a few of the highlights of our summer, and also the events I actually took pictures of. I was extra bad at remembering pictures this summer! Sadie is growing up so fast and talking so much! It is so fun to see her little personality take shape and I can't wait to see how she will be with a new little sister! She loves babies and I am sure she will be a lot of help, maybe too much help! I am sure pictures of the new baby will be our next post, unless I really feel motivated, so look out for that in the next 5 weeks!

Martin's Cove Trek
Our ward went on a trek this summer to Martin's Cove. It was a great experience for our family and our eyes were open just a little to what it was like for the pioneers. I was 6 months pregnant and we had a two year old and by the end we were tired! But we realize that it was nothing to what they went through! We feel truly blessed for the sacrifice of all the pioneers and what they went through so the could live the gosple. What a great experience!

We are excited to announce that Sadie is going to be a big sister to a little sister! We couldn't be more thrilled! Eric may start feeling a little out numbered around here, but soon he will have two little girls who have him wrapped around their little fingers. It was so fun to see her moving around inside of me. We are excited to announce the 2nd little peanut coming to our family. This little one is scheduled to arrive Oct 13 2010, we are hoping for 10/10/2010! No one will ever forget that birthday. Friday night Halle and Gray came and had a sleepover with us. Sadie thought it was so fun and was excited that they were there when she woke up. I thought these pictures were so cute. Sadie layed there and watched the movie with them for a good 15 min, which shocked me, she usually doesn't stay interested that long. She felt like such a big girl. We had so much fun! November just flew by and I realized I haven't posted anything in quite a while! We had a fun month celebrating Thanksgiving, and getting ready for Christmas, and going on a cruise. We left Sadie with my parents and went on a 5 day cruise with our friends Slade and Maeris. It was so nice to get away for a while! But we were definitely ready to get back to Sadie. We were worried she would miss us too much, but she was totally fine. When asked "Sadie where is Mommy and Daddy?" She would simply reply "Mommy bye bye, Daddy bye bye!" It was probably harder on us then it was on her! We went to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. I wasn't that impressed with Jamaica, mostly just a lot of people offering me marijuana and trying to get me to give them my money. Grand Cayman on the other hand was very nice and we had a fun time swimming with the stingrays and snorkeling! We also had a fun time just cruising on the water, and we were very excited when we got an upgrade on our room. Instead of a little porthole, we got a really nice balcony! It was our favorite place to just sit and relax! Here are some pictures of our adventures.

Sadie loved Halloween this year! She thought it was great that every where she turned people were handing her candy! We didn't actually go door to door trick or treating, but we went to 3 truck or treats (our ward, my parents ward, and Eric's parents ward). Sadie got lots of candy! Every year Eric's Grandpa and Grandma Purdy throw a super fun Halloween party. We always have yummy food, fun games and lots and lots of treats! Grandma Deanne is so fun and she always has the best Halloween costume, this year she even got Grandpa to dress up! They were Vampires this year and their costumes were awesome! Sadie was a little nervous though. Here are some pictures from the night.

I can't believe the Summer is on its way out! It has been a fun summer with Sadie this year. She is growing up so fast! We have had lots of fun playing with cousins, swimming lessons, Season passes to Seven peaks, going to lunch, playing at the park, working on our House/ yard, trip to Park City, runs to Daddy's store for carbonated frozen yogurt and lots of other fun things! But just because Summer is coming to an end doesn't mean we're slowing down. This is my favorite time of year when the weather becomes a little cooler and all of the fun Holiday decorations start showing up in the stores. We're looking forward to all the fun things ahead! Swimming Lessons

Sadie and I have been taking the mommy and me swim lessons. Sadie loves the water, and her favorite thing is the slide! We have been super busy this last few months trying to get our house ready. We are now living there, but there are still boxes everywhere so as soon as we get organized we will post after pictures!

We have been loving the warm weather this week! On Wednesday we decided to get on Sadie's new swim suit and go over to JoJo's to play in the water with Halle, Gray and Nash. Sadie loved every minute of it!

It is fun to see how she has grown this past year. I can't believe she was ever that tiny! Sadie is the center of our universe! We are so proud to be her parents! We love watching her grow and learn new things! She is such a sweet little girl and has us wrapped around her sweet little finger! Thanks Sadie for all the fun you bring to our lives! We love you and can't wait to see what another year will bring!

We had a fun party the Saturday before Sadie's birthday. All of Sadie's family came and she had so much fun! Sadie loved her cupcake and cried when it was all done. She recieved so many fun things and is so lucky to have such a wonderful family who loves her so much! Thanks everyone!

Fusion Yogurt is now Open!

Slade and I just launched Fusion Yogurt. A self-serve frozen yogurt (only 36 cents per oz) made with real natural yogurt, high in probiotics and very low in fat (almost none). After weeks of working with BYU's nutrition professor, Lynn Ogden to develop a machine that can produce a carbonated frozen yogurt it is ready. Now perfected, we are the world's first to sell to the open market!

We are located inside Boomerang Books just south of BYU campus. Fusion currently has two machines - 2 carbonated flavors and 2 regular flavors.

Sadie found a new hinding spot. She was playing in the family room, I was doing dishes and Eric was in the other room. He came in and said "Where did Sadie go?" We looked all over and we couldn't figure out where she was, I could only hear the faint sound of a little rattle. I finally looked behind the couch and there she was thinking she was pretty clever! So funny!

We just bought our first house! We couldn't be more thrilled to be first time home buyers. We are so excited about our new house. It needs a little tlc but with a little paint and some new carpet, it will be so great when it is all done! We will post before and after pictures so you can get the full affect.

Sadie is totally in her element when she is outside. She loves the grass, the leaves, the flowers, and especially the dirt! I can't keep her out of it. She eats it, picks it up and puts it in her hair or down her shirt, the girl loves dirt! Daddy is pretty proud that she loves to be outside, and that she isn't afraid to get a little dirt on her (or a lot of dirt in these pictures!)

Birthdays are the best! Especially when you have awesome people to spend them with! My day started with some fun shopping with my mom, followed by a lunch out with the girls (my mom, grandma Clark, my sis-in-laws Katie and Rachael, my sis Karlee, my niece Halle, Sadie, and and a few boys, my nephews Gray, Nash and Boston). Then they all surprised me with a pedicure, which was my first ever and so much fun! We decided it is going to be a new tradition for every ones birthday, lunch and a pedicure! Then my mom babysat Sadie so Eric and I could go out, which we haven't done in a long time! We went to eat at the Spaghetti Factory (yummy) and then to the movie Kung fu Panda (so cute!). It was so fun doing something with just the two of us! Eric's present to me was this fun game called Cash Flow! I am excited to play it! Anyway I had the best day! It was probably one of favorite birthdays ever! Thanks everyone who made it so special!

Ok sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. It has been a crazy summer. We moved back to Utah in July and are loving being home! The bookstore is open and doing well. Eric is loving being there everyday! I just recently got called to be the YW President in our new ward so between that and taking care of Sadie I am super busy!
